What we must all do, somehow, before we die, is to sort out how our own indeterminable past has shaped our lives and to make peace with it. This novel does that extremely well.

This first novel by Donna Jones evokes a strong sense of what it means to be a daughter, a woman, and a mother and a friend throughout time. Her descriptive writing style provides the reader with a visceral feeling of the human experiences eloquently weaved into her tale.

A very heartwarming beginning, some tense moments, and a brilliant finale. This work surpasses revelation of writing talent.
